TBers,

Portfolios have been used in Higher Education for years as a means of
assessment and for students and faculty to build a collection of their works
for graduate school, employment, tenure review and beyond. Recently,
technology has made available what are called "electronic portfolio systems"
or "e folios". A number of companies make these products and it has become
a widely discussed issue in Higher Education.

This email is to ask you to consider joining an electronic
discussion/education forum called e-folio where members of the SUNY Oneonta
community will discuss and learn about these systems and help decide which
one is best for us. If you are interested simply send me an email and I
will add you to this discussion.

If you would like more information about these systems please read over the
attached PDF file or visit the web site:

Thanks.
