Very interesting discussion. I would like to know more about the Œlearning
community¹ concept.

Fundamental to any plan for our students should be an understanding of those
students. I believe they are often first generation college students and are
focused on a job, not a liberal arts education. Their ability to receive a
liberal arts education will be limited by the habits and practices they
establish early in their college career.

Still it is a good question HOW to offer them the best recourses in the most
educationally sound manner.
WHO our students are is fundamental to that. Do we have that information?
