I think it's time that we start offering mini's in image editing, web
design, digital video, etc. I have been kicking this idea around for years
now. Our computer art students are coming in at much higher levels than they
did just a few years ago and the rest of the campus population is far more
graphically skilled. Many of our incoming computer art freshmen don't really
need Computer Art I. If these things are taught in mini's they would be
available to all, and computer art classes could concentrate more on the art
than on the software applications.
