Our librarians do a GREAT job of showing students how to do research using
computers, how to know good data from bad data that students find on
computers.  I think they also do presentations on how to avoid plagiarism,
how to cite information, etc. Would you like to include that sort of "how to
use computers" info?
Another idea - - do we have any basic, placement test that will show which
students already know Microsoft Office?  Do we have a challenge exam for
CSCI 100?  If so, might that help us to know what software training these
students need?

I'm glad you'll be doing training for students.
I should probably attend!!
