TBers, One of the most important things we can do for students is probe for misconceptions they may have after presenting new material. A recent issue of the Learning Support Services Developmental Ed Dispatch has a nice piece on what we can do to help students in this regard. Try asking them to: Write a one sentence summary of today's lecture. Write a question about something you didn't understand. Write down something that helped you learn today's material.
