TBers, This email is a reminder that our next Teaching Breakfast is tomorrow at 8 am in Morris Hall. The topic will be: Second Life: What is it and how are educators using it. Second Life is a 3D virtual world that has been catching a lot of press lately. With more than 5 million residence and a reported $1.5 million US dollars exchanged there everyday, more and more companies and institutions are taking notice. Closer to home, this semester a group of SUNY Oneonta Music Industry students, as part of their course work in Legal Issues in the Music Industry, are promoting, marketing and producing concerts in Second Life. So far this learning experience has gone far beyond what students, faculty and support staff ever imagined. Please join us if you can to explore and discuss virtually 3D space and its emerging potential for education. Mr. James B.
