HI, Zanna Thanks for your note. Everyone is welcome to attend any meetings, but Jen, Jim and I have planned different activities for each meeting, so we hope people will attend all of them. We'd like to encourage more faculty involvement with online education, and we hope that will encourage more administrative support. Oneonta has a lot to offer online and we'd like to help those offerings become more available. Thanks Janet Dr. J. Meetings March 20, April 10, 24, May 8 at 8 a.m. in IRC 120 SUNY's Chancellor Zimpher has announced SUNY's plan to move ahead rapidly to use Open SUNY to increase educational opportunities throughout SUNY, New York State and in support of global education. If you'd like to know more about online instruction, or if you have experience with online instruction you'd like to share, please join a new group of faculty and staff to exchange thoughts, get updates about Open SUNY, and practice building online instruction modules. Brief discussions will be led by Jennifer Bueche (Human Ecology), Janet Nepkie (Music) and Jim Greenberg (Teaching Learning Technology Center). Much of our meeting time will be used to allow group members to practice their online teaching abilities. You are invited to use these four meetings to gain new understanding and skill with instruction involving technology, and to work with others on campus who have similar interests. For additional information, please contact Jennifer, Janet or Jim. Dr. J.
