As President Kleniewski mentioned in her message to the campus last week, Susan Bernardin of the English Department will conduct a two-part workshop to help faculty incorporate "Flight," our common read, into their fall courses. Both sessions will be held in the Craven Lounge at the Morris Conference Center. The first session is scheduled for May 29, from 1-2 p.m., and the second session will be held on June 6, from 1-2:30 p.m.

Although I encourage you to attend both sessions, you may attend just one. Click here to register for either or both of the workshops.

I'm also pleased to share that the college has purchased 100 copies of "Flight" for faculty and staff. You can pick up a copy at the bookstore with your college ID card beginning on May 13. These are available a gratis and on a first come, first serve basis.

TBers,

The TLTC has a couple of copies of Flight by Sherman Alexie that we are done with if anyone wants to borrow.  Let me know and I put it in the mail to you, or you can stop by and pick it up.
