Hello all!
I hope that the semester is going well and you have been able to have lots of meaningful interactions with your students. We are continuing to expand the Teaching Breakfast/Coffee
Chat conversations by alternating weekly between the two options: Teaching Breakfast on Thursday mornings and a
new time for Coffee Chat on Wednesdays at noon. We will continue to meet both in person and virtually, so if you feel comfortable participating in person, come on down; if you would rather meet via Teams, hop on your computer!
These spaces will continue to be a place to come together to talk about new modalities you might be using to teach and hopefully share and get a few answers. This week we will be holding Teaching Breakfast. Because of the inclement weather, we will probably
be online mostly but will try to have someone in the room tomorrow morning.
Our reading for this week explores what it means to be transparent with your grading and some different ways to think about this.
We look forward to
hearing how you help make your grading and assessment as transparent as possible.
We hope to see you on Thursday morning for Teaching Breakfast (February 23)
if you can make it! Please stay safe and warm with the icy weather coming in tonight!
