TBers,
This is a reminder that we have a Teaching Breakfast in the Butternut Room, just past Starbucks in Hunt Union tomorrow, September 12, at our new time from 9 - 10:30am. Bring your drink or grab something at Starbucks and come on over. We will keep the conversation going till 10:30 so come any time that you can.

Here is a great article that outlines an interesting model to think about teaching through called "Fearless Teaching Framework<https://nobaproject.com/blog/2019-07-03-brave-teaching-using-the-fearless-teaching-framework-to-infuse-your-course-with-evidence-based-strategies>." The article is a good short read that also links to the full framework if you want to do a deeper dive. The authors looks at four areas that any professor can focus on to improve their teaching: Climate, Content, Practices, and Assessment. There are some interesting suggestions here, backed up with lots of research.

I look forward to hearing your thoughts on which of these would be most useful to focus on to make improvements to teaching and learning.

See you tomorrow if you can make it.
