Conversation: New Website for International Online Learning at SUNY
Subject: [facdev-l] New Website for International Online Learning at SUNY

Colleagues,

I am pleased to announce that the COIL Center web site is now available at:
http://coilcenter.purchase.edu

There is a lot of information already embedded in the site and I want to
thank those who have helped so far. Three current online international
courses are described in some detail as is a new program well along in the
planning. There is a "Course Exchange" where faculty at SUNY can list
courses that they would like to teach with a partner abroad and there is a
developing page of references and links.

The site has been designed so that visitors can easily add comments and I
hope that this site will become a focus for community development in the
arena of online international education at SUNY and a portal to those
schools actively developing such courses. Please take a look, feel free to
make comments, and contact me to submit information to the site about
projects and courses developing on your campus.
