TBers,

The Faculty Center at Stony Brook University is holding its 3rd annual Spring Teaching Colloquium, Doctrina Vitae “The Teaching Life” on Saturday, May 14th. Our keynote speaker, Dr. Robert Boice, will lead a new faculty panel on The New Faculty Experience: Building a successful academic career. In addition to our keynote presentations, there will be presentations from faculty on Assessment, Integrative Learning and ePortfolios, Online and Blended Learning, Teaching in Higher Education, and Experiential Learning. Also, the SBU students will be celebrating their first year of eportfolios with an awards ceremony and model eportfolio showcase. For more information and to register for this free event, go to https://tlt.stonybrook.edu/FacultyServices/Events/Pages/SpringColloquium2011.aspx
