Here is an interesting article from Inside Higher Ed that describes how some elite liberal arts colleges are responding to pressure from parents and students to focus more on getting a job after college.  There are some interesting ideas here, but the first question is whether or not we wish to do this?  Of course, the other question is whether we can afford NOT to respond to this challenge?
