Come to the Faculty Center and TLTC’s Open House in the TLTC Lounge in the Technology Commons in Milne Library on Wednesday, April 12 from 2pm-4pm.

While you're here, you can meet the TLTC's new director, Michelle Rogers-Estable. Michelle holds an EdD in Instructional Technology and Distance Education and an MEd in Instructional Leadership. She previously worked as the Manager of Online Education with SUNY Delhi, and as an Educational Technology Team Lead at The Higher Colleges of Technology in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Her research interests have centered on Web 2.0 use in education, mobile learning, and positive psychology in education.

The new director of The Faculty Center, Kjersti Vanslyke-Briggs, will also be available at the open house. Kjersti is a Professor in Secondary Education and Educational Technology at Oneonta and joined the faculty here in 200S. She is the editor of The English Record and her scholarship work is centered on education literacy, young adult literature and web 2.0 integration. Her most recent book focused on education reform movement resistance. She looks forward to developing the new Faculty Center and working with faculty across campus to celebrate excellence in instruction and learning.

Light refreshments will be served.
