Should a faculty member be responsible if information that she/he has collected on the computer is accessed by a hacker?  What is the university policy on this?

This is a worthwhile read, along with the brief article by Babcock. Both implicitly support the argument for another, revitalized, freshman interdisciplinary course that would emphasize critical thinking skills.
